Ogaki Mini Maker Faire 2018
Start by Making!
Things / Games / Culture
The “Maker Faire” is an festival in which “makers” active in fields like electronics, robots, crafts, electric musical instruments, science projects, recycling and upcycling gather from all over the country to show, talk about, and share the fun of the things that they have made. The “Ogaki Mini Maker Faire 2018” marks the fifth time the event has been held in Ogaki. Last time, the “Ogaki Mini Maker Faire 2016” featured over 140 exhibitors and attracted over 6,000 visitors who shared in an atmosphere of excitement, surprise, and fellow feeling.
In addition to presentations and exhibitions by various makers including businesses, schools, communities, groups, and individuals, we are once again planning to hold workshops and presentations for families to enjoy.
We plan to start accepting applications for exhibitors in September; when applications open, this will be announced on our website and Facebook and Twitter pages. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the faire, please contact the executive committee office (details below).
