Smart Things Project
The market of applications utilising touch panels, communication functions, and sensors has been expanded by the growth of smartphones and tablets. Moreover, Bluetooth Low Energy has enabled us to create smart things that communicate with smartphones (sometimes referred to as ‘accessories’) with ease. In a joint research project, we explored possibilities of ‘attractive smart’ things with communication functions.

LooperOur lives are full of gestures. Looper is a playful companion device that records and tracks these everyday movements and set actions and reminders to specific gestures, such as shaking hands or waving, within a personal and shared context.
