IAMAS Open House 2010 Sat. 7/31-8/1, 10:00-17:00
Open House is an event that enables the general public to come in and explore around IAMAS. Through workshops and lectures by the faculty, as well as exhibits and films by the students, we introduce the research and classroom activities that normally occur at the school. From potential students thinking about applying to IAMAS, to those interested in the research and artwork of the various studios and courses, we welcome everyone to our Open House event.
The Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences and International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) is an educational institution that creates and transmits new culture through the fusion of art and science. Students of many different ages and backgrounds are gathered at IAMAS. The wide scope of expertise within the student body crosses over the fields of art, science, and engineering technology. Rather than simply being a place that propagates unique knowledge and technology, IAMAS also aims to cultivate individuals that are able to take their own research or artwork and forge ahead in this age of new media.
